Guilty Pleasures.....

Sitting at the corner, pretending to be deeply involved in your work with the antennas of your ears attuned to receive the frequencies even below 20 hertz, to overhear the amusing conversations.......
Pledging in the morning, of abstinence from chocolates from cigarettes from sweets and enjoyingly breaching the self imposed austerity, convincing ourselves of non-existence of any such promises
Staring and making judgements about wat others wearing is banal by all fashion standards believing yourself as spruced up to latest in fashion
How often do u think u do that and how many people u know who love doing dat?
Dnt know
Must be some overwhelming number
So wats ur guilty pleasure
flicking
irritating someone
playing pranks
cracking big time PJs
staring at cleavages ;)
Does it make u feel guilty? or it adds a pinch of pleasure to spice up the bland and boring monotony?
I guess both
and for many of us latter dominates the former
I enjoy performing a wide range of deeds that give me pleasure.........
ohh did i mention i feel guilty too???
well watever
flicking is my poison, only limited to pens
i dnt have much assets but my "will" shall show you a huge collection of pens i possess range from a 2rs.ball pen to "jetters" to "parkers" to "cross"(this one was gifted)
gossiping about bosses over steaming coffees
cussing friends jokingly (not always), huddling up in a group and taking trip of the single one left out
trifling over trivial arguments and indignantly defending your point without view
All this defines me, not completely, partially. And I really appreciate myself for all this........
I dnt wana be termed as narcissist but if u feel so I dnt wana spoil ur guilty pleasure.

Guilty if u feel
juss make it a deal
trade-off guilt for leisure
enjoy your guilty pleasure

for life has this unobliging habit
it races off like a rabit
so put some smile on ur lips
now i hv written for long

Quintessentially Kaminey......

Feels like after a long time i watched a good movie.....

Vishal Bhardwaj really knows the nerve of his audience. And now that's wat u call passion. Using the most cliched and trite bollywood formula of twins and developing such a pathbreaking plot is undoubtedly work of a great mind. I wish i had such passion for my work....

I am trying really hard to avoid this, but the film-maker in me has already over-powered the blogger in me. I couldn't care any lesser about the nuances & technicalities of the movie-making, coz the movie is poles apart from regular cinema dat i cdnt ignore it..........
Its so obvious yet so subtle, everything seemed in line and unlike other movies it's not getting onto you with loud messages, it is rather presented so subtly that u get confused very often. And for good reasons vishal bhardwaj dsnt seem to carry the hangover of his past laurels like other directors....... I cnt help mentioning movies like ( Delhi6 & Jodha Akbar)

Oops....... I still haven't mentioned the movie I am lauding like a buff....... but i believe u must have guessed it....... after all, all Kamineys think more or less same way......

There are rumors about sccreenplay similarities with an academy award winner, hollywood flick-Pulp Fiction,  More rather than less it's similar to pulp fiction in a manner of its storytelling style, the non-linear storyline, chase of a mysterious object, mafia wars and uber dons.

like his previous acts vishal has co-authored the script.... and one thing unique to his writing style-he trusts his audiences' intelligence to a level that of code breaking cryptographs, he dsnt run after u and beg ur laughs at the sick and pakau jokes......

The irony is well knit throughout the noir, the movie is rife with satires, puns and farce integrated inseparably with the tragedies.
The smooth transitions from death serious scenes and churning out ludicrously laughable situations, Kaminey takes you on a roller coaster ride. Movie is full of kaminapan from the onset where an NGO worker spreading condom and AIDS awareness falls prey of rubber accident himself then sweet marathi sweety convincing him to prepone marriage from 2014 to 2009, bhope bhau, adorable stuttering and lisps, Tashi the don, corrupt police, mikhail....... vishal left no character unkaminized
every single character is a bloody scoundrel.
Tashi's " I dnt like dogs, I like bitches... shoo away shoo away" Sweety's "To kya mene tumhara rape kiya tha"
Guddu & Charlie's face-off, Kid's chocolate and motorbike, the controversial " Apna hath Jagannath " accompanying mallika's poster, nimboos and mirchis the khatarnaak dhan te nan background score and many scenes without background music at all. All this is so innovative yet effusing the quintessential Kaminapan


The movie is simply a marvellous celluloid creation.
I am all set to watch it all over again

Theory of relativity........

One may wonder how many versions of theory of relativity exists.......

One of em is a hot-shot theory patented by Einstein, but just like any other best seller have cheap copies and versions, relativity has its own share of renditions.......

one of them takes a funny stance and goes like-If u run around a tree with a speed greater than light u can leave urself behind U.......

and one more similar version which is a bit inappropriate to be stated here. Another completely different version which I think is perpetual in existence & has been troubling all of us since adam & eve......

This is not as difficult to phrase, as other versions...and best part u dnt have to mug it for any exam and still if u are aware of the true nature of this theory there is no greater achievement. Before I reveal wat dis theory is let's c wat it's not...

This is not at all a simple version of definitions written in ur CBSE text books....

This is not a cheap 3rd class non veg joke and

I will take pride in shattering ur hopes-this is not a gossip theory

My theory of relativity states that there is no universal truth

We all know Adam & Eve made a mistake and ate the apple forbidden by the heaven.....they said it was wrong....was it really?, well if it was wrong we wudn't exist so it's right and infact good for us, this is what my theory says someone's misery is another's merriment, if u r rich it's coz somebody is poor, if u gained it's coz somebody lost, and if u are alive it's coz someone's dead.......

Nobody knows a heads is good or a tails, good or bad changes depending on which side u are. If Hitler won the war he wud write history and ascertain that he was on good side.....

In a choice We analyse both the sides and always end up selecting which is lesser wrong or more right. Killing is a crime wen done within borders and rewarding wen done at borders, where is the universal truth which is always believed to be guiding the blurred path. In this labyrinth of facts n fiction i always end up finding that the true nature of truth is dynamic....what we believe, is truth 4 us unless its proved wrong. Usually we dnt go deep down looking 4 all the truths, establishing ourselves in a self projected zone of reality......

This theory is similar in one aspect to Einstein's relativity-Formula to obtain results, changes wen u change the frame of reference. Quantum of felicity is a function of how much u alredy have, best is best only till better comes. We all reach out to conclusions only by comparing variables, like a skewed experiment we allow manipulations to derive the desired results.....

Life revolves around comparison and measurement, a man, who says he dsnt involve in comparisons may sound philosophical but who says philosophers are not liars and think it over coz a lie may not be always a lie.

Everyday i live in an anticipation that some day the universal truth will be bestowed upon me till then I wud love to enjoy in the glory of relativity..............

Quotism......is it realy happening

The best thing people do with a quote is to quote it to people......

An authentic quotation is just like pee, its better to pass it on time or it makes u restless. Well that sounds like a quote again....

I swear this is highly contagious, but our today's agenda is to prove that quotes are good to impress others but far off from being worthy to impress on ur minds.....

lets start with this one-“A word to the wise ain't necessary, it's the stupid ones who need the advice.”

Now lets look at the empirical observation of this quote which is an advice in itself so if we believe the quoter he is actualy advising hence it suggests that the quoter believes that people are all fools who need advice and if they are then stupid they anyways wouldn't follow the advise. So he should advise himself not to advise and if he needs advise......you are wise people. The empirical observation concludes that the quote is just like Heller's catch 22, it offers u no real choice so its best to quote it to others....

now lets sail thru this one-“The only thing to do with good advice is to pass it on. It is never of any use to oneself.”

Now if Oscar wilde advices people to pass on every advise then according to him this advise should also be passed on without using and if u pass it on u are also following the advise in a way and if u are using the advise u are not actually following his advise.........

After observing these two quotes I would like to advise the guy who quoted "all scientists are insane" to see the quoters, that might change his notion.......

Before any quoter quotes anything about this catch in the quotes lemme take u through this one-"Always trust till the end, either you'll have a good relation , or a Good lesson"

This one's very sweetly coated and mellifluously told but dnt get into the sweet looks, look inside it tells u to wait till the end and what u get is either successful relationship or if not dat then a cruel failure which apparently is artfully disguised as a good lesson.....

Its just like saying wait till the end u ll either get the heads in a toss or u ll know that how not to get heads..... but the catch is nobody is certain whether u get heads or tails.........

Some people believe quotes are all enough to live on a life but are they?

ok they are?

they don't know?

do they? :)

The reality is relative to the fact that how much manipulation you allow to be made in the quotes u think are enough to live....... Quotes or proverbs or adages or words of wisdom give u a very idealistic situation in this not-so-perfect world. But who lives an ideal life, at this point of this observation i wud say quotism is synonymous to idealism, individualism and if u look thru the prism of these "isms" u find the reality is not reflected but refracted......... in short reality is manipulated. These "isms" just dnt exist. And if they do, then not in this fallible planet of ours.

If you think u are also infected by this non existent quotism please think again chances are u might not be.....

coz it anyways dnt exist. So whats the point in quoting these words of men of wisdom....

Answer is there is no point and nobody gives two hoots if there is any point. The point is are you really capable of finding your own quote and not falling for another catch 22 quote.........

I have found mine-"Your coat is the best coat that fits you........"

Week after graduation weekend.....

What an unusual week it was.....

took off with a long awaited graduation day, the fancy robes & caps apparently scholar.....

finally the 20 yrs of continuous education, ofcourse formal, came to a halt with a recessionary jolt...

but it was fnatbulous week in a sense, with all the friends reunited, although 4 a while but refreshed all old memories, sorta retroactive.....

then came the monday, the most dreading day when u remember all ur good moments for the last time, and with the excitement of a bug unvoluntarily sewing itself in the spiderweb.... but monday morning blues made my blood boil to revolt against this inhumane practice and guess wat....

I took an off....lolz

but my blood couldn't boil for 24hrs at a stretch and i was sewn back on tuesday.....with the extra workload coz of showing unnecessary self styled patriotism a day ago....

the day started with new trainers in the office and ended in the anticipation of some miracle dat will make the day end soon.....

wednesday & thursday were more or less same-hectic, tiring & exhausting but yesss it was fun...

the week also brought the news of an airplane missing above atlantic which was later confirmed as crash.... it was a bad news....

wenever i hear about plane crashes now the 1st thought is always of superman who always saves crashing aeroplanes..... but it dsnt exist.....

den came friday the most awaited day specially if u work in a U.S. process.....but the flames of this excitement of coming out alive 4m spiderweb was all doused by an unfortunate announcement.....our batch is getting reshuffled with another batch @ tcs which is another unwelcoming move by the admin.

after a month & half were all like a family out dere.....

now it still remains to c whether my apprehensions about this new batch comes true or fades away with time........

although i have many reservations about the way my career is shaping up but i would be more than happier to confess TCS isFUN.......

The auspicious beginning

Sounds cliched, but to make myself believe that everything goes well in future I start with shree Ganesh.......

This is the day(actually past midnight) i have been looking forward since so long... but i anyhow managed to procrastinate my innate desire to start a blog, to express myself(as if i hv not been expressing myself) and to manage to make some money(far off dream) and to prove it, to that part of me which says i cnt write a blog, that i can and i will. And it took me long... really long to figure out how to write one..... technical issues actually....

I think its gettin late now and i shd go sleep or may be pick a novel....
